EiD Cattle Tags are increasingly used for herd management purposes as the benefits of Electronic Identification are realised in both the finishing of beef cattle and the management of dairy herds.
Zee Tags cattle tags are available with both FDX or HDX technology. The EiD Button Tag is approved by Defra for use as an official Secondary Cattle Ear Tag.
Other Zee Tags EiD cattle tags are available as management tags only at present but can be supplied either pre-printed or ready to write on by hand. An essential herd management tool
Zee Tags EiD tags retain all of the retention characteristics of non-eid cattle tags:
- Made from a super flexible long lasting plastic
- A clear laser mark that does not fade
- Swivels freely in the ear to aid retention
- Applied using the unique Zee Tags Tagger
